Well, the long-awaited third season of
Martha Bakes will finally be airing starting this coming Saturday, April 5th. Ball, King Arthur Flour and Nordic Ware will serve as the season's sponsors. The third season follows a strong second season that averaged more than 900,000 weekly viewers throughout its initial run and was seen in more than 96% of U.S. households, with ratings about ten percent higher than its first season. In each of the thirteen, 30-minute episodes of the third season of
Martha Bakes, produced by MSLO, Martha will demonstrate more classic baking techniques and basics using her signature step-by-step, how-to teaching process. Episodes will include everything from puddings, French favorites and Bundt cakes, in addition to holiday breads, bar cookies and crackers and flatbreads.
"The success of
Martha Bakes and
Martha Stewart's Cooking School strengthens the fact that there is indeed a rise in popularity of home baking and cooking, and that is gratifying to see," Martha says. "I'm very happy that we are able to contribute so much excellent food content to such enthusiastic audiences..." Be sure to check your local PBS listings to find out when

Can i buy the other seasons on dvd?
I'm hoping one day they will put Martha Bakes and Martha Stewart's Cooking School on DVD, but so far they have not done so. You can view old segments from past episodes on marthastewart.com for now.
In addition to Martha Bakes program , if we can now get a return of her gardening segments and general information it would go a long way to placing MSLO back were it belongs in setting design, style and grace.
APM
When Martha first signed with PBS a couple of years ago she said that they wanted her to develop a gardening series. Not sure what will come of that, but I'm hopeful.
Can't wait for tomorrow!
My PBS affiliate does not air any of the Martha shows. Extremely disappointed, I don't get my Martha fix :(
Hi Andrew, I wish we can watch it here. I do watch the old episodes on Martha online and love it all
Have a wonderful weekend xx
would love to see a gardening series and maybe some holiday specials
Andrew,
Do you know where Martha Bakes and Cooking School are taped? That kitchen is very similar to the set from Martha.
Hi! Cooking School is taped at the Omnimedia offices. When The Martha Stewart Show ended they dismantled the set and rebuilt it at the Starett Lehigh building where she is headquartered. Everything is done in one facility now! Martha Bakes is filmed at Martha's own home kitchen in Bedford.
