Martha's New Garden Tools

Among the new offerings at Home Depot in Canada is a line of gardening tools, including trowels, loppers, clippers, cutters, saws and pruners. Again, these tools are currently only available at Home Depot stores in Canada but may be available in the U.S. next year.

The appliances are made of fully hardened steel with a rust-resistant coating and one-piece die cast aluminum handles for strength and easy handling. The palette for all of the tools consists of a cool gray with teal trim.
The tools range in price from $7.99 to $15.99.

You just have to rub it in, don't you? :-) I love the tool design.. very similar to the previous MSE garden tool line (which I still use every season). BUT.. I do want to change the tools to these lovely grey and teal tools!

Okay, now you really have my attention...
I love the colour combination but at that price I wonder if they can really hold up to constant (dare I say, professional)use. The only thing I might need is a dibber or perhaps another pair of secateurs, so maybe I'll swing by and take a look. Has anyone else tried them out yet?

Kenn, at least you have a garden to use these in! I have to simply admire them from afar. They're lovely!

Ailsa, the nice thing about these tools, too, is that they're made in smaller dimensions, ostensibly for women's hands. Martha thinks of everything!

Well it is nice that you get some Martha Stewart products that we do not have. We have some Martha Stewart Products that Canada never sees. It makes a nice reason to come visit Canada!!

I too still have all the original garden tool line from KMart circa late 90s? They are a traditional green. And the wooden-handle trowel is still perfect after much use. I wouldn't mind getting pieces from this line either...why must we wait though?!

P.S. Still using the clean products. One of my dish soaps did turn a yellow color instead of remaining clear but it didn't alter the efficacy.
