The September Issue

The September issue of Martha Stewart Living will hit newsstands on August 10th, but it has started showing up in subscriber mailboxes, which is exciting. So many fans look forward to the September issue: an issue traditionally devoted to the home and interiors. I love this cover! It's refreshing to have a cover that is not devoted to food for a change. After all, "Living" encompasses so much more than that. I can't wait to receive my copy in the mail and slowly page through its contents.

Beautiful section on the farmhouse rebuild by Pia Ulin/Catherine Hong!

Can you tell me where to buy the "low leather couch" on page 83?

Not sure about the couch. If it was available on the market it would have been listed in the caption. My guess is that it's vintage or is no longer being made.

Received my issue yesterday and think it's a good one. I love that for a change, food isn't the main feature. All the organizing tips are great...who doesn't need to have more ideas for staying on top of things...I sure do. In all honesty, this issue has me convinced to renew my subscription which I did today because of an offer included that gives me 2 years for the price of 1 - yeah! The food related items are still good because I love to cook but it's nice to see more home-keeping types of articles.

Very late comment on the Sept issue, but it is much closer to the blending of articles of older issues and as such very enjoyable to read.
Not sure if I have just gotten used to the new esthetic or some of the pictorials/ layouts have reverted to the more color drenched pages of the past ( ie article on preserving).
