Martha Stewart Living: U.K. Version This Fall

Martha Stewart Living magazine will launch a U.K. edition of the publication beginning this September, according to Minonline.com. It is expected that the magazine will publish monthly and will have different content than the U.S. version of the magazine. The licensing partner is Pizzazz Media Ltd. which will also issue the U.K. version of Martha Stewart Living in Australia and New Zealand.

As the magazine approaches its 20th anniversary, the company is ramping up its international distribution of its flagship and supporting magazines. In July and October, respectively, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia will release Everyday Food and Martha Stewart Weddings in Dubai written in Arabic. These will also be issued in Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Syria. Martha Stewart Living will be released in Indonesia this August, adding to the existing international versions of the magazine in Poland, Korea and Thailand. (International editions of Martha Stewart Living had previously been issued in Japan, Israel and the Philippines. The U.S. version of the magazine is currently distributed in dozens of nations around the globe.)

Does this mean I will still be able to get the US version in the UK. Now I am worried. Magazines in the UK don't seem to have been too affected here, and in fact a new quarterly food magazine has just been launched. I hope that MSLO really launch Martha and Living in the UK. Very few people know much about her over here and it is still quite hard to find her magazines (no Body & Soul/Whole Living).

I'm quite excited but nervous at the same time. I'll send you the first issue Andrew when it comes out.

snesterI was surprised that Martha was denied entry to UK with visa problems when she was there to visit bone china industry. Many of us can learn much from her perserverance and class in handling some unfortunate choices in her life. Magazines and writings have made her image known around the world with her stamina in marketing.

Pru, I think the US version should be unaffected, but I don't know for sure. They may decide to cut costs by ceasing its distribution there now that a Brit version will be distributed there, but they may also decide to maintain the status quo. I ADORE you for offering to send me the first issue, Pru! XO

Pizzazz Media who had the license to print MS Living in the UK seem to have disappeared, leaving a lot of unhappy subscribers to the other titles they own (Scrapbook Trends, Bead Trends etc)

:(

Hi Richie, I came across your blog, when looking for information on Martha Steward's Living magazine in the UK. Apparently we were supposed to get the publication in stores by fall, but I haven't seen anything yet. Do you have any news on this, and what stores in the UK are stocking them. I can't wait to get my hands on some. Thanks. P.S by the way, love your blog. Love. Ana Miranda

Has anyone found the magazine over here yet? I usually have a friend's husband who buys the Xmas edition in New York.
