Martha Moments Readers Celebrate the Holidays!

I have to say that I am so impressed by the amazing things Martha's fans do - especially around the holidays. From baking cookies to making wreaths, setting gorgeous tables to decorating gorgeous trees, they do it all. And they do it very well! Below is a compilation of some of the festive things Martha Moments readers have been up to lately. I'm sure you will agree that everything looks exquisite and festive! I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very safe and happy Holiday. I will be away from the computer for most of next week, so don't fret if you do not hear from me for a while. Thanks to everyone who reads this blog. You really are very inspiring and wonderful people. Martha would be proud! I certainly am! Thank you also to Martha, who has enriched our lives so much in so many ways. Happy Holidays!

KENN: The top six photos are from Kenn in Michigan. He baked gorgeous Chocolate Crackle Snowcap Cookies as well as delicious shortbreads. (Notice the Martha Stewart Celebrations napkin?) He has a few trees in his home, including a blue tree and a red tree. Many of the ornaments you see are Martha's. I love how he has arranged these jadeite-green ornaments in a jadeite bowl, nestled in among his collection of other jadeite collectibles. Kenn also rediscovered this Martha by Mail reversible wrapping paper!

BRIAN: This reader in Pensylvania has also been busy baking and decorating, as you can see in the above four photos! He decorated one of the outdoor trees on the property in a very organic way using large kugels and white lights. He echoed the kugel motif in his one of his windows. And don't his gingerbread and shortbread cookies look so delicous?

DAVID: Another reader in Pensylvania is a professional baker and uses many of Martha's copper cookie cutters from the Martha by Mail catalog. I love the assembly of festive sprinkles in those jadeite bowls, above, all ready for action! And the finished beehive cookies - complete with decorative icing wreaths - look incredibly beautiful.
MARK: This reader in Rhode Island has his presents all wrapped and ready to go. I am very jealous of the beautiful bows he is able to tie! Don't his gifts look festive?
JIM: This reader in Liverpool, New York, has decked his trees entirely with Shiny Bright vintage ornaments, grouped by colour.
JESSIE: A reader in Ottawa, Canada (my hometown!) photographed her kitty cats examining the newly erected tree in her living room. They seem to love the plush tree skirt and the shiny lights!

BERNIE: This reader makes all his own wreaths, as you can see above. One of his favourite desserts to make is Martha's "Birch de Noel" (Bouche de Noel) and I have to say it looks excellent and delicious, especially with those meringue mushrooms. He set a beautiful table for Thanksgivng and I'm sure his Christmas table will be equally gorgeous! Here is his tumblr.
ANTHONY: We've seen a bit of Anthony's beautifully decorated home in a previous post, but I had to show his tree one more time, with its 2,500 ornaments, bathed in golden light.
ROWAIDA: This reader, who lives in Kuwait and London, made a beautiful dessert table using Martha's recipes. Her impressive work is often featured on this blog and I can't wait to see what she does next!

Does anyone know where the January/February 2014 issue of Living is? I haven't seen or received anything yet.
