In 2008, Martha Stewart expanded her collection of branded merchandise into lighting with Murray Feiss. Even though that partnership has expired, Martha returns to the lighting fray with a new series of table lamps that will be available at JC Penney beginning in April as part of her new Martha Home line with the retailer.
The Murray Feiss line included lamps, pendant lighting, sconces, ceiling fixtures, chandeliers and outdoor
lighting. Design features included silvered glass, ribbon
glass, milk glass, Venetian details, glazed ceramic, ebony lacquer,
alabaster, 1930s modern silhouettes, limed oak, textured mercury, deco glass, Arts & Crafts and Victorian motifs. The line was extraordinary - designed primarily by Martha Stewart and Kevin Sharkey - and I'm lucky to have a catalog that features each of the offerings.
The new lighting line from Martha Home and JC Penney begins with table lamps, exclusively. Hopefully floor lamps and pendant lighting will make appearances as the line develops. Below are examples of each of the styles you will find at JC Penney in the coming weeks. Prices range from $110 to over $200.

We bought four of the lamps last weekend, two for the family room, two for the bedroom. Very nice quality. On another note, I was scolded for trying to take a peek behind the plastic on the "Martha Celebrations" section. Perhaps JCP employees are not quite used to Martha fans.. :-) We're a curious lot!
Haha! I'm sure the big reveal isn't too far off, Kenn. But until then keep peeking! The lamps look great. I love the Colonade lamps and the Modern Cage lamp. So nice!
