Not once in the short description of the ceremony and reception, nor in the captions accompanying six beautiful snapshots, does the magazine mention the obvious: Hooper and Shulman are gay. The focus, instead, is on their menu choices and themed tables. The couple’s wedding stood out because of their use of recycled found objects in their décor, and not because of their sexuality.

I wonder what percentage of Martha's fan base is gay? I imagine it must be considerable, as every gay man I know appreciates and admires her and MSLO. I suppose it makes sense that they decided to this,but still it is a risk. I wonder whose idea it was?
Martha has said her mission in life is teaching and if we do not learn, it is our loss. Weddings are celebrations and mean different things to different people. It will be a good thing to see this issue of MS WEDDINGS.
