Halloween Clip-Art

I have a folder on file filled with dozens of clip-art templates from past issues of Martha Stewart Living and I just finished downloading the most recent Halloween templates from the October issue of Martha Stewart Living. Two stories from the October issue, in particular, feature stunning designs: Nature's Canvas (which features beautiful pumpkin-carving designs) and Irrisistible Ink, which takes the idea of the impermanent tattoo to new heights of imagination. As always, the designs are inspired and artistic: the brainchild of Crafts Editorial Director Marcie McGoldrick. Below are photographs of the finished projects. Click here to get the clip-art templates for the pumpkins and here for the tattoo designs.

  1. I love the clip art for Halloween this year! I really must try my hand at some of the carving techniques this year... I think this October issue is one of the best we've seen in recent years!

  2. I definitely agree, Kenn. And the clip-art is so artfully presented. I might do the mirror craft!

  3. Just wanted to drop in and say, THANK YOU for this blog!! It is absolutely amazing to see page after page of Martha Stewart and Martha-esque photos and information displayed. I love seeing pictures from the older issues displayed, because I was born in 1987 and didn't get on the beautiful home bandwagon until the magazine had already begun to change a bit(in a negative way, in my opinion). I wholeheartedly agree that "something" is missing from the newer issues, they just don't rivet me like some of the older issues do. I still subscribe of course, because the gorgeous photography hasn't changed!

Anyway, enough blather from me. Just wanted to say I was delighted to find your blog; so many enjoyable hours ahead to browse through the pages! Martha would be proud. The only thing I wish it had was an archive for ease of finding things! Kudos. - Katie

  4. Thank you, Katie! What a nice comment. There is an archive at the bottom of the page, if you scroll down. You can view the archive by month or search the "Blog Highlights" by subject. Again, at the bottom of the page is the directory.

  6. Katie, I love Saskatchewan! I've been to Saskatoon before - and my favourite musician is from there: Ms. Joni Mitchell!
