I think the history is fascinating. There are also Canadian ties: the Acadians (French settlers in Canada) were deported from maritime Canada by the British and sent to a colony in New Orleans, hence the French influence of the city. As Martha, Mr Trebek touched the lives of many. My daughter tried out for College Jeopardy--<br />we drove to New Orleans for the tryouts.
