While I have no problem with the MS cabinetry, although some of the shelving seems to be floating in the air, it is completely devoid of Ms Stewart's signature collections ( ie yellow ware, Fire King, or ironware) and seems not to offer her previous inviting, warm home feel. Again....it just may be the way I see it!
APM Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768882.post-15139632015171717132016-02-02T19:35:37.413-05:002016-02-02T19:35:37.413-05:00'" kind of " off topice.....
While ...'" kind of " off topice.....

While I am sure I did not need it, I purchased on eBay a very early edition of MSL ( #16/ November 1993).
I found it interesting in the "Weekly Letter From Martha", she mentioned a new venture, a weekly 1/2 hour TV show. It's interesting to read of her hopes for the TV format to "depict substance , quality of life and living , and sharing of ideas in a thorough and unique format". Her hopes were realized the show ultimately expanded to daily, then increased to an hour. Now 24 years later her fans still talk about the quality of the show, and as the positive comment above ( from Chris) , we all hope for continued success for Ms Stewart and her message.
APM

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768882.post-52337818051787940662016-02-01T14:18:21.827-05:002016-02-01T14:18:21.827-05:00I actually thought the last 2 issues were much bet...I actually thought the last 2 issues were much better than some of the previous ones.
When the editors touch on many different aspects of "good things" the read is much more interesting. The last 2 covers also have been okay and not too over-the-top with crazily stacked food. Thought the process for making the speckled eggs was really inventive...I thought they maybe just splattered dye all over - yuk, what a mess that would've made! Let's hope the issues continue on this path.Chrisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768882.post-27528716623891748772016-01-31T16:00:06.179-05:002016-01-31T16:00:06.179-05:00This is an incredible issue!
